About Sassafras Mountain

Sassafras Mountain is located in Pickens County, in the Northwestern part of the state, off of a winding mountain road. From the top you can look down onto a view of the beautiful lakes of the area (Jocassee, Keowee, and Hartwell). On a clear day, spectators are treated to the view of all three states (NC, GA, and SC)
